Course overview
One of the most common challenges for entrepreneurs is to raise money from investors, high net individuals, angels, friends, or sometimes even family members. Entrepreneurs believe that if their product or service is good enough, investors will come. This is a common myth. No investor has the time to find you, then spend time to understand your awesome product and cut the check.
Getting funding is not easy. If you want the money, you have to chase it. And it is as intense as building your product. It requires a lot of preparation and effort on the entrepreneur’s part before s/he is ready to make the pitch. The pitch has to hit a home run in a matter of seconds. If it doesn’t, chances are that your objective will remain unfulfilled, which means that if you’re an entrepreneur, you won’t get the money from this investor. You may have a great idea or a product, but if you are not able to pitch it perfectly to your audiences, you may not get their support.
